The problem is that since he is no longer here, and his email no longer exists I cannot control the domain name. To make matters worse I cannot access the email for this ex-employee. What do I do?
It is extremely important to keep your domain name particulars as up-to-date and accurate as possible, your primary email contact should therefore not be on the hosting account for the domain.
- A formal request using Form 2, accompanied by a sworn affidavit by one of the domain name contact persons, or alternatively the managing director / member of the registrant.
- This will be followed by a transfer initiated when ordering the domain transfer
-
- NOTE: Please note that this does not apply if the employee has listed themselves as the registrant.
-
A manual update of a domain name could be considered with written authority from the current Registrant. This authority must be given on a Form 2, as per the instructions on the form.
