SEACOM have identified a network fault between Mumbai and Dar-es-salaam. They are unable to provide an ETR (estimated time to repair) at present.
SEACOM failure update - Current investigations indicate that a repeater has failed on segment 9 of the SEACOM cable, which is offshore to the north of Mombasa. ETR 6-8 days.
SEACOM released a notice on Seacom News stating that "We note SEACOM services between Mumbai and Mombasa are down since 9:19 GMT/5th July 10. We are still investigating. More updates to follow.". more..
