- Unit is powered and operational
- The unit has been reset to factory defaults
- Connect the ethernet cable to the AP and configuring machine
- Assign a static ip to the machine for configuration (Remove once setup has been completed and tested)
- Logon to the AP using the ip on the unit or in the supplied documentation
- Change the default password
- Change the default IP
- Disable the AP DHCP Server
- Enter the new SSID
- Enter the security settings for the AP
- Check Channel settings if required
- Check SSID broadcasting if required
- Remove cable and test the AP within range.
- Test AP range and connection
